Meet MacPac
All about the MacPac team members
Doug and Kristi McAfee are the owners of MacPac and the husband-wife duo that keep everything running smoothly. They work with clients as they onboard with us to make sure all your orders get processed on time. Kristi manages the office crew and Doug oversees the warehouse team.
Our team is dedicated to processing your orders and accurately fulfilling every single one, even those pesky Amazon vendor central orders that are notoriously prone to charge-backs.
Amazon Seller Central
MacPac Fulfillment is able to fulfill for Amazon FBA Seller Central. When using FBA, a subset of Seller Central, the products are sent to Amazon and then to customers. For more information on the differences please see our other blog post, Amazon FBA vs Seller vs Vendor.
Amazon Vendor Central
Amazon fulfillment can be complicated. With all the paperwork, labels and steps involved, it's easy to get charge-backs on your account. At MacPac we've developed a three-day process that helps us package your purchase orders correctly and avoid charge-backs on your account.
The basics of our process are fairly simple, so we made an infographic to give you an idea of how we run your Amazon Vendor Central orders.
Ecommerce Fulfillment
We offer e-commerce fulfillment as well as Amazon Vendor Central services. Our system connects with a wide variety of e-commerce platforms and shipping carriers.
Inventory Process
We've tracked inventory a few different ways in the past, but we've found using a super simple system works the best for our team and our clients. Below you can find all the info on our inventory process as well as an example of our Inventory spreadsheets.
Amazon FBA vs. Seller vs. Vendor
Amazon offers a variety of options for companies to sell on their platform. Here at MacPac, we fulfill three of the most popular options:
- Amazon Seller Central
- Amazon FBA
- Amazon Vendor Central
Amazon Bulk Buy Orders
Amazon Bulk Buy Requests are special orders from Amazon Vendor Central that may be offered to your company a couple of times throughout the year. Amazon does not disclose much info about this process, so in order to help explain this process and the pros/cons of these orders, we have put together this post based solely on our previous experience with the program. We have worked with four different clients that have accepted bulk buys various times and these are the typical results and issues we have found with Amazon's Bulk Buy program. Please feel free to do your own research and contact us if you have questions specific to your products.
